I know when I pick up a Kristen Proby book, I will not be disappointed. KP knows how to weave a tale that keeps you wanting so much more. Kissing Jenna was one of my favorite stories that I’ve read this year. Christian and Jenna were absolutely perfect for each other, and you know that going in, because isn’t that what any good author does? Writes two characters who were made for each other? I loved the premise of this story, movie star meets small town girl, and even though they struggle with their relationship, her not wanting to hide and him needing to for the sake of his career, they are such an effortless couple you find yourself screaming at them to just be together. I’m oh so anxious for the best Big Sky novel!
LOVE!!!! Kissing Jenna totally blew me away. I am always drawn to books and series that tie together and will have character cameos. This book did not disappoint. I do love how we continue to see characters grow from previous Big Sky novels. Jenna is such a strong character and I absolutely loved watching her development. Christian, holy cow.... he burns up the pages! The chemistry of these two is totally swoon worthy and will leave you smiling. Kristen Proby has such a way with words, you will feel as you are right there in those treehouses with Christian and Jenna.
Kissing Jenna was amazing. Kristen has not lost her humor and charm and continues to blow me away with her stories. I love Jenna and Christian. They have great chemistry and a love story to be admired. Not many of us understand the struggle famous men and women go through to have a relationship and a private life and Kristen captured thoses moments perfectly as if she had experienced it herself. As much as Christian and Jenna just want to be wrapped up in each other, Christian’s public life threatens to get in the way. If you want to laugh a lot, fall in love, and get swept away to a sexy Montana resort with a lot of snow, I say go for it.
Sandra Two Book Pushers
Kissing Jenna is the second book in the Big Sky series by one of my favorite authors, Kristen Proby. I have read almost all of her books, I have two of her new releases taunting me on my iPad. Anyway, this book can be read as a standalone but I do recommend reading Charming Hannah when you get the chance, I just loved it. It was also where I first met Jenna as Brad’s sister. Now, it’s her turn to find love on the mountain.
Christian needs skiing lessons for his next big Hollywood role. Jenna has just finished her treehouse project next door to ski resort. It was a match made in location heaven. She was passionate about her new project. He loved the calm of it all. He also loved who Jenna was. She teased him from the very beginning. She made him laugh and feel at ease. She didn’t care bout his celebrity status. She looked at him like he was just a man. Not People’s sexiest but she definitely enjoyed the view. He knew from the moment he saw her that she was going to be someone special. He only had four weeks in Montana but he wanted to make the most of it. With her.
Jenna knew who he was. Of course she did. Everyone did. But she didn’t know he would be like this. Sweet, witty, and so down to earth. He made her feel important. Wanted. Adored. She didn’t know where they were going but she had four weeks to spend time with a man who made her feel fantastic. Happy. Satisfied. Loved. The problem? It would never last. They are from two different worlds. He is red carpet. She is small town. He lives in a mansion in Beverly Hills. She lives in a cottage in Cunningham Falls. Four weeks. That’s all they had. Right?
Aw. I fell hard for this couple! Their banter from the very beginning was so much fun and flirty. I also loved that I felt their passion and not only for each other. He has his passion for the movies. She has her passion for her properties. I just love them. It’s hard to explain with words. Together. Individually. They are amazing.
Overall...it’s a fun, sweet, and sexy ride! I could picture the treehouses above the snow and looking out to the resort while the skiers and boarders went down the slopes. The northern lights too. Just beautiful.
P.S. it was soooo fun to catch up with characters from some of Proby’s other series’.
“He’s everything I never expected.”
“It doesn’t matter, Jenna. Doesn’t matter if you’ve been to a thousand dance classes or none at all, as long as you feel the music and the person you’re dancing with.”
“You were such a plot twist,” he murmurs against my lips before kissing me silly.
Kiss of greatness
I absolutely loved Jenna and Christian. They were a great couple to read about and there relationship was something that you rooted for. Too get a glimpse of Natalie and Luke Williams from the Seattle series was fun. This was a great story that you did no want o put down. Kristen Proby did not disappoint with the Addition to this wonderful series. Jenna is a strong independent business woman and Christian is a movie star how can you go wrong with these characters. Can’t wait for the edition in This series
I’m a huge fan of Kristen Proby, and I think Christian just became my new favorite book boyfriend! I loved watching Jenna and Christian come together and grow as a couple. It was a fantastic book all around!
This is another winning story in the Big Sky series! It’s a sweet & sexy book, full of friendship, fun and lots of love!
Set in the snow swept mountains of Montana, this is Christian & Jenna’s story, two strong and passionate people from very different worlds finding love when they least expect it. Christian is a handsome Hollywood heartthrob, unhappy with the deception & lack of privacy involved in being a celebrity. Jenna is the beautifully sassy & independent owner of the lodge he rents while learning to ski. His superstar status doesn’t impress her much and he’s soon finding excuses to spend time with her, becoming more besotted & carefree as the weeks pass. Enjoying each others company, they find love in their happy little bubble far from his commitments & the prying eyes of the paparazzi. But falling in love wasn’t part of the plan & they know their time together has an expiration date. What will happen to them when the bubble bursts & they have to go back to the real world?
